Emma Sepúlveda Pulvirenti nació en Argentina en 1950 pero emigró a los 6 años a Chile en donde creció. Poeta, crítica literaria, ensayista, fotógrafa y activista política. Realizó estudios de Pedagogía en Historia en la Universidad de Chile hasta el año 1973.
